On Sunday February 24, 2008, the 78 year old Ralph Nader announced that he will run in the presidential race as a third party candidate. He says that he will "shift the power from the few to the many." He claims that the current Republican and Democrat front runners are too close to big business.

Ralpher Nader's history began as an attorney and a consumer advocate. Initially he focused on fighting the automobile industry, and exposing poor workmanship and dangerous automobiles.
